I'm Wondering About This

There's this guy, Tyler, in my New Media class and well we've gotten along alright. Mind you its only been three days after all. Anyways the first day we met he sat down behind me then jumped around me and sat next to me instead, introducing himself and everything. I just figured he was trying to be nice or something to make a new friend maybe he was I'm not sure.

Anyways today he kept fooling around with my computer, hitting all the various keyboard buttons and such. Well my friend who sits three seats down from me said that she thinks he likes me just by how he's acting. I couldn't believe her because well he doesn't seem like the kind of guy I would go for but I don't really have a preference. Anyways I was wondering if it really sounds like he likes me or not?

Hmm...well, from what I know, his behavior seems to be that of a flirty teenage boy with a crush. But, my advice is give it a little time. Let a friendship develop first and then see what happens from there. If his attention hasn't been drawn elsewhere after a little time, then i'd more confidently say he's in crush mode. Every guys have different ways to show they like a girl. And maybe your Tyler friend can't feel like being able to get your attention in another way than fooling around. The best way to know is still to tell him, or at least, try out to know. Being friend with him first for example. And seeing if he's acting like that with others than you or if you're the only one he acts like this around.

I think once you'll be certain about his feelings, it would be easier to know if you want to be just friends or more.
